Hey ,do I have to have Darnified books checked Because my friend has Darn UI, and he doesn't even have Wrye Bash. This guide assumes that the user has Shivering Isles and KOTN installed, anyone that doesnt can just skip over the DLC related mods though. It is the second most popular Oblivion mod of all time on the Nexus. Also, why does Darn change the menu to look like Morrowind, yet have the custom font selection menu display it in Oblivion default That's a little confusing. An up to date, ENB compatible guide focused on improving Oblivions visuals without drastically altering anything from its original appearance. OBMM should open up and you will see Darnidifed UI in the box on the right. After you place the Omod into the Data folder, click on it. Now I reckon I didnt pay enough attention when uninstalling it. I installed the nos using NMM but decided I didnt like the new appearance so I deactivated it and deleted it off my HDD.
A clean vanilla install has no UI files in DataMenus. Then reinstall any mods that you have just uninstalled. Then go in to your OblivionDataMenus folder and delete any leftover xml files. Extract or manually place the Darnified UI OMOD file into the Data folder. Extract or manually place the Darnified UI OMOD file into the Data folder. Hey guys, I think I might have seriously messed up my game with DUI. Then I suggest you uninstall EVERYTHING that alters your UI in any way. #Issues with darnified ui oblivion install#ĭo you not think it *might* be user error or a corrupted download of the OMOD (you *did* use the OMOD and not manual install, right?) rather than the mod being a POS? Regardless, I've already told you, try BT Mod, that's the other one that tends to come up if you look for a UI mod for Oblivion, but I've not personally used it as I tested DarNified first and decided to stick with it There's also DarkUI, but the non-DarN version is listed by the mod author as outdated and probably not stable, and superceded by the DarkUId DarN I think this is a standalone mod, so you wouldn't have to re-install DarNified, but I think I did try to install this at one point and had some sort of trouble with it, can't remember what, think it basically just wouldn't install. #Issues with darnified ui oblivion install#.
